Join our Summer Survey Challenge

By challenging yourself to complete three specially-selected bat surveys—Project NightWatch, the Sunset Survey, and the British Bat Survey—in one season as part of our Summer Survey Challenge, you’ll be playing a vital role in helping us build a better future for our native bats. Not only will you be collecting data that’ll inform nationwide bat conservation efforts but, as the challenge progresses, you’ll also get to develop your wildlife surveying skills: Each ‘level’ of the challenge involves a different survey that’s slightly more involved than the last!

While you’re out surveying, you’ll also get the chance to experience the mood-boosting benefits of spending time in nature and connecting with other members of your community—in other words, it’s a win for you and for your local bats! And speaking of winning, if you do manage to complete all three surveys before October 2023, you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win a shedload of bat-tastic goodies!
